Last week over 170 students from across the UAE took up the “Doodle 4 Google – I love Football” challenge, redesigning the Google logo in the spirit of football. Representing a multitude of nationalities, including Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, the UAE, France, England, India, Pakistan and a host of other nations, the competition brought out the very best of the children’s artistic talent.

From the submissions received a panel of judges narrowed the entries down to the top ten finalists. Google is now calling on all MENA users to log on and vote for their favorite Doodle between June 1st to June 7th.  Each vote counts, and each vote is a demonstration of support for the Middle East winner, who’s Doodle will go on to represent the MENA region in the global phase of the competition!
