A delegation from the World Bank (WB) arrived Saturday in Sanaa for talks with Yemeni officials on the pace of implementing WB-funded projects, reported the official Yemeni news agency, Saba.
It said that a meeting took place between Minister of Planning and Development Ahmed Mohammed Soufan and WB delegation head Mahmoud Ayoub.
The agency said they dealt primarily with the Taiz City flood protection project, as well as gender-related issues and the bank's support in this field.
They also discussed the proposed law on water resources, which will be submitted shortly to Parliament for approval – Albawaba.com
