Prime Minister Ehud Barak is portrayed as Adolf Hitler's successor on a US-based Internet site, apparently established by Jewish extremists, reported The Jerusalem Post Wednesday.
MK Colette Avital (One Israel) filed a complaint against the site with the Israel Police Tuesday, and the FBI is to investigate, said the daily.
The Likud reacted to the news of the site by saying that "people who use that kind of protest" cause great damage to the national camp's struggle against Barak's policies. The party added that it would continue its struggle in "democratic ways."
The site shows Barak's face on Hitler's body, in Nazi uniform, unfurling a Palestinian flag, and saying, "I will finish your work, Mein Fuerher. I will join Hamas and the PLO to finish the job [of destroying the Jewish people]. The site also reports that Barak is "fulfilling the wishes of all the Jew-haters of history, like Hitler," and features a "game" in which the user can try to eliminate Barak.
Avital was quoted as saying "wild incitement has returned to the streets and media," adding that the extreme right has again gone out of control.
The site appears on the US-based free web page service Geocities, said The Jerusalem Post – Albawaba.com
