Wednesday Relegated After 3-3 Draw

After a 3-3 draw with Arsenal, England's Sheffield Wednesday's dreams of gaining the Premiership were shattered after being relegated from the League where they had been in the top spot for nine seasons. 

The match produced five goals in 21 minutes including Arsenal fighting back from 3-1 down. 

Arsenal's Lee Dixon scored the first goal causing his team to maintain the lead until halftime. 

Wednesday went 3-1 ahead after two superb shots from Belgians Gerald Sibon and Gilles de Bilde and a third from Alan Quinn after 70 minutes. 

Arsenal's Brazilian Silvinho then scored in the 78th minute and Henry fired a shot in the last 12 minutes to equalize the match. 

The result relegated Sheffield Wednesday to 19th position with 28 points, while Arsenal, 15 points behind Manchester United. came in 2nd place and is to compete in next week's UEFA Cup Final - (Several Sources).
