Anti-drug police from the Palestinian Authority found a marijuana nursery in al-Aqrabaniya neighborhood in the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank on Monday.

PA police spokesperson Luay Irzeikat told Ma’an that police were alerted to a farm in the area before detectives stormed the area and found 600 marijuana plant saplings in a nursery measuring around 2,000 square meters.

Irzeikat said the nursery was equipped with up-to-date irrigation systems and fertilizers, adding that one suspect has been arrested.
