Early in 1997, George Wassuf was caught in a sexually compromising situation with one of his music video models in Lebanon. However, that wasn’t the end of it. Alongside the model, Wassuf was caught enjoying another source of pleasure; Cocaine. The singer was then immediately arrested. However, charges were dropped, suddenly, due to ‘a lack of proper evidence.’
Ironically, that same year, 15 Lebanese students were charged with drug use although no drugs were present on them!
