ALBAWABA - President Donald Trump has called the U.S. government's massive deportation campaign against unauthorized migrants "the largest mass deportation in history." As part of the campaign, the White House posted pictures of migrants being deported on military planes.

A major pledge made by Trump's reelection campaign was fulfilled when White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt declared the beginning of the deportations. Leavitt posted images of refugees being transported aboard military aircraft on her official X account. “This is a clear and powerful message: If you enter the United States illegally, you will suffer serious consequences,” she said.

According to Leavitt, 538 illegal immigrants with criminal histories have already been taken into custody, and "hundreds" have already been deported as part of the operation. "Promises made, promises kept," she said, emphasizing how quickly the campaign was carried out.

The program is a component of President Trump's larger plan to change immigration laws in the United States. A state of emergency has been imposed along the southern border, troops have been stepped up in the area, and the deportation of "criminal aliens" has been given priority via executive orders.

The administration's strict immigration policies were further reinforced earlier this week when legislation increasing detention terms for foreign suspects was enacted by the Republican-majority Congress.
