The African Nations Football Cup may be over, but the Algerian press can't stop talking about it.
One major area of discussion regarding the cup in which Algeria reached the quarterfinals is how the managers divided up their tasks. In an interview to Al-Khabar daily, coach A-Saeed Hamimi said his responsibility was limited to the midfielders and strikers, while the other two coaches, Sanjaq and Jadawi were responsible for the defense. According to Hamimi, this division of responsibilities was agreed upon from the beginning. Al-Khabar concludes that this type of training helped the Algerian to qualify to the quarterfinals, others are probably doubtful.
