The Riyadh-based World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) has recently implemented a project of a new mosque in the Arbil governorate, in northern Iraq, at a total cost of SR 70,000.

WAMY's assistant secretary general, Dr. Abdel-Wahab Noor Wali said the implementation of the mosque project had come as part of WAMY's activities in the service of Muslims throughout the world, SPA reported Wednesday.

It is worth noting that WAMY had earlier spent some SR 20 million in this region for implementing educational, health and agricultural projects as well as digging wells and building mosques, SPA added. (Albawaba.com)
