Xerox Emirates to Embrace Channel Strategy in 2010

 Xerox Emirates (XEM), the leading enterprise for business process and document management, will unveil a plan to enhance its channel and alliances network at a gathering to be held at the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club on 5th May 2010.
Under the plan, new channel partners will be recruited to add to the existing network that the company has throughout the emirates. Channel will focus on generating incremental equipment and consumables sales entering into new Managed Print Services contracts and possible services strategy expansion.
“The vision we have outlined for this year is to be considered for every single business process and document management opportunity in the market,” said Prateek Dayal, Channels and Alliances Director of Xerox Emirates. “This entails improving our channel management strategy, and increasing it to a point where we have better-than-competition market coverage so we can generate incremental business.”
According to Dayal, channel distribution is the fastest way to increase market share as well as improve end-user coverage. With more than 400 external sales people throughout its channel partner, as well as over 20 business alliances, Xerox Emirates hopes to tap into this network and be the preferred choice for every single document process and business process outsourcing opportunity in the market.

The plan also involves hiring additional staff to manage the enhanced channel network.
