The remains of 23 Yazidi males have been discovered in a mass grave in northen Iraq, according to AFP.
The grave was excavated near to the village of Bardiyan, after a tip-off from a local resident, Fuad Othman, spokesman for the Kurdish regional government said on Saturday.
Daesh is thought to be behind the killings.
The Yazidi minority community are thought to have numbered several hundred thousand in Iraq before they came under attack by Daesh last summer. They are mostly Kurdish speakers whose ancient religion stems fromof Zoroastrianism, Christianity and Islam.
