Yemen’s Houthis to arrest government ministers should they not return to work

The Houthi rebels are now threatening to arrest Yemen's prime minister and cabinet members should they not return to work, reports Associated Press.

Prime Minister Khaled Bahah and his cabinet members resigned collectively to protest the Houthi takeover in Yemen.

The government officials have since refused to return to work when they were ordered to do so by the Houthi rebels.

Yemen's government officials have been persecuted by the Houthis since the rebels took control of the country earlier this year.

Earlier this week former President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi fled his Houthi-ordered house arrest to Aden. He has since asked that the UN-led peace talks to determine the fate of the country be held outside the country's capital city of Sanaa for security reasons.
