Yemen and Algeria discussed on Wednesday means of enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of oil and gas, reported the official Yemen’s news agency Saba.
The topic topped the agenda of a meeting between Yemen’s Prime Minister Abdul Karim Iryani and Algerian energy minister Shakib Khalil who arrived in Sanaa on Tuesday.
The two officials “discussed the brotherly relations between the two countries and cooperation on oil that started in 1971 when the Algerian Company "Sanatrak" came to Yemen,” said a statement, quoted by the agency.
