Yemeni security authorities have arrested about 7,000 foreigners who entered the country illegally during the current year. Most of them were from Africa, a weekly newspaper reported on Thursday. It quoted sources in the Interior Ministry as saying that 5,214 Somalis and 1,200 Ethiopians were arrested after they infiltrated into Yemen through the sea.
