At least 374 Yemeni security force personnel have died this year in Sanaa's offensives, including attacks on Al Qaeda, this year, according to Agence France Presse.

AFP has been tracking the number of deaths from official as well as "other sources," according to the AFP report.

The army has incurred most of the deaths, with at least 211 troops killed during the first six months of 2014. Out of the dead, at least 12 were officers. Another 95 were also wounded.

Special forces under the direction of the interior ministry have also faced a number of losses, with at least 94 policemen killed, and another 34 murdered by gunmen on motorcycles. Collectively, more than 40 others were wounded in the division.

At least 17 intelligence officers, as well as three air force personnel have also been killed during the first six months of 2014 in Yemen.

Many of these losses are linked to Sanaa's multiple offensives on the country's Al Qaeda chapter AQAP, northern Houthi rebels, as well as the southern separatist movement.
