The Yemeni army, backed by the Saudi-led Arab coalition, seized control of new sites from the Houthi militia north of Saada province, Saudi state-news channel Al-Ekhbariya reported.
A military source told the Yemeni News Agency that the army reclaimed control of several strategic sites within the province.
The source added that the militia suffered heavy casualties.
