Assistant Secretary General of the Federation of the Popular Forces party in Yemen Mohammad Abdulmalek Al-Motawakel was assassinated by gunmen Sunday.
Gunmen riding a motorcycle shot four bullets at Al-Motawakel, killing him immediately, at noon near his home in Sanaa, Ministry of Interior said. The gunmen ran away.
The ministry stressed that security forces are collecting evidences from a crime scene to carry out manhunt to find those behind the assassination and bring them to justice.
