Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh said on Monday that he was seeking to hold an emergency Arab summit to take a common Arab stand vis-a-vis all forms of terrorism.
Saleh, in a telephone contact with US Secretary of State Colin Powell, indicated at necessity of supporting international efforts, currently exerted, to "confront this phenomenon that negatively affects international peace and security," the official Kuwaiti news agency (KUNA) quoted him as saying.
Saleh expressed condolences on victims who had fallen in the Tuesday attacks.
For his part, Powell praised Yemen for showing sympathy with the American people and the state cooperation into investigations of the October bombing of the US Cole destroyer, attacked in Aden last year, said the agency -- Albawaba.com
