The total revenue from the Yemeni taxes at the Capital Income Tax Office reached YR.745.308.338.251 during the last fiscal year, showing an increase of 9.5% more than the estimated mark of YR.1.102.775.256 in the budget; at the same time the increase is 20.4% above the revenue of the fiscal year 1999, the Yemen Times reported.
Disclosing the figures, the Director General of the Capital Income Tax Office revealed that this gigantic and qualitative as well as quantitative increase has not been achieved incidentally, the weekly said, quoting him as saying that this has been achieved by the tireless efforts of the workers throughout the office's branches -- Albawaba.com
