Yemeni Vice President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi is in Qatar for a two-day visit, reported Qatar News Agency (QNA).

Upon his arrival to Doha airport on Sunday, Hadi underlined the strength of relations between Qatar and Yemen, saying that they were of a special nature, and praising Qatar’s supportive attitude about the issue of Yemeni unification.

Hadi told reporters that his talks in Doha would focus on bilateral relations in various fields.

He added that he was carrying a letter for the Qatari emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, from Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, dealing with developments in the Palestinian territories and the dangers that "oppressive Israeli policies" there pose to Mideast peace.

He said he and the Qatari officials would discuss ways of supporting the Palestinian people and their rights - Albawaba.com
