Yugoslavia has decided to temporarily close down its embassy in Beirut, Belgrade’s charge d’affaires, Jovan Vujasinovic, said in a memo addressed to the foreign ministry.
According to the memo, cited by the Daily Star newspaper on Monday, the Beirut embassy is to be provisionally based in Damascus.
