Zamil Industrial ITG Achieves ISO 20000 Certification
Zamil Industrial has announced that Zamil Industrial ITG, the IT operations division of the company, has been awarded International Organization for Standardization ISO 20000 certification ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005. Zamil Industrial ITG is one of only four organizations located across the entire Middle East to achieve this certificate, issued by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), an international auditing and verification company based in Norway, and accredited by itSMF (IT Service Management Forum).
Zamil Industrial ITG provides integrated IT services to enterprise systems of internal and external customers of Zamil Industrial in Saudi Arabia. The ISO 20000 certification is the first worldwide standard specifically targeted toward IT Services Management. ISO 20000 certification indicates a consistently high level of commitment to business integrity and security, as well as to a culture of continual quality improvement in IT Service Management.
In order to meet ISO certification standards, Zamil Industrial ITG has demonstrated exceptional effectiveness in the design, implementation and integration of IT service management procedures for delivery to both internal and external customers. The organization manages IT services for the regional and worldwide operations of Zamil Industrial sector businesses, including Zamil Steel Industries, Zamil Air Conditioners, Zamil Glass Industries and Arabian Fiberglass Insulation Co. Ltd.
