Egyptian President Mohammad Hosni Mubarak arrived in Abu Dhabi Saturday on a two-day visit for talks with his counterpart Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan.
Both leaders held talks, Saturday, reviewing the latest international developments, particularly the situation in Afghanistan, and their impact on the region and the world, said the Emirates’ official news agency (WAM).
They also discussed Israel's escalation of aggression against the Palestinian people and ways of reviving the Middle East peace process.
In a closed meeting, the two leaders affirmed Arab determination to find a just solution for the Palestinian issue and to end the continued escalation of Israeli terrorism against the Palestinian people, said the agency.
Mubarak is due to go on to Kuwait on Sunday for talks with Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah al-Sabah.
Kuwait's emir, Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah, is recovering in a London hospital from a minor brain haemorrhage he suffered on September 21. The government says he is expected home "in a few weeks." – Albawaba.com
