The famous Egyptian series Zeezinia is coming back to the small screen in its second part for the month of Ramadan.
Director Jamal Abdul Hamid has begun shooting the series more than two months ago to make sure it is released by its due date.
According to ‘Al Jumhuria’ newspaper, the second part of the saga takes on the era of the Palestinian war. The Egyptian daily said that the series’ creator Anwar Akasha decided on the time span to entail the 1952 revolution, the fall of the Egyptian monarchy and the 1965 war.
The series will include the social and cultural transformation of Egypt during that crucial time.
The script and dialogue were written by Akasha himself, while Yihya Al Fakharani, Hala Sudqi and Huda Sultan star – Albawaba.com.
