1000 Palestinian Prisoners Suspend Hunger Strike in Israeli Jails

ALBAWABA - 1000 Palestinian prisoners suspend an open-strike against conditions in Israeli jails.

There were warning that they would go on hunger-strike and there were due to take such action but suspended this for the time being. Israeli has agreed to suspend the harsh punitive measures meted out against them.

Earlier on the message to go a hunger strike was splashed all over the social media which was to have started Thursday evening.

The news is trending. This is a collective hunger strike taken as a protest by Palestinian prisoners.

The number of Israeli prisoners held in Israeli jails stand at 4,450. These include 160 children, 32 Women and 530 are held in administrative detention which means they are not legally charged.
