ALBAWABA - Two pro-Palestine protestors were recently arrested over sticking a photo of a bloodied Palestinian mother crying while holding her child with both being covered by debris on a Pablo Picasso painting in the National Gallery, London, according to The Art Newspaper.
The painting which is titled "Motherhood" was only covered by the pro-Palestine protestors for a while before security came in and violently detained one of the protestors on the ground. While he was being detained, the protestor yelled "Free Palestine" multiple times and also started yelling about things Israel is doing to Palestinians in Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has resulted in the killing of at least 42,000 Palestinians without counting the lives lost under the rubble from the airstrikes and the injuring of more than 97,886.

The other protestor was seen sitting under the painting while they poured blood across the floor in reference to the blood lost by the ongoing Israeli aggression mentioned above.
Moreover, a National Gallery spokesperson announced that the Picasso painting was not damaged. One of the protesters is 23-year-old NHS worker Jai Halai who works in London.
As reported by The Art Newspaper, he shouted, "I’m taking action with Youth Demand because at this point it’s been over one year of seeing my colleagues in the healthcare field decimated. Decimated by bombs, by bullets, and by having to operate, with no medical equipment, on starved children".
Hamas announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel making it the biggest offensive by the group in decades.
Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip, captured military bases and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel while others were seen paragliding into occupation territory.
In response, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Thousands were killed, and dozens of thousands of others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
