ALBAWABA - Pro-Palestinian activists entered one of Zara's branches carrying shrouds to protest the Spanish fashion house's latest limited-edition collection which many said was simulated from the suffering in Gaza.

A video was shared on X (formerly Twitter) showing multiple protesters carrying shrouds entering a Zara shop. Furthermore, one of the activists was seen carrying a photo of Zara's latest limited-edition campaign.

Some of the protesters were seen with tape covering their mouths, to protest the world's silence towards Israeli attacks that are happening in Gaza.

Zara's latest limited-edition campaign photoshoot was heavily blasted after the fashion house was accused of imitating the suffering in Gaza amid continuous Israeli attacks which killed over 18,200 people and injured more than 49,600 others.

On Instagram, Zara posted several photos and wrote: "ZARA ATELIER. Collection 04_The Jacket." "A limited edition collection from the house celebrating our commitment to craftsmanship and passion for artistic expression."

In one of the photos shared on Zara's Instagram, a model wearing Zara's new collection piece was seen in the middle of ruins.

In another picture, Zara's model was spotted holding a mannequin which was covered in white plastic wrap, which many pro-Palestinians blasted saying the famous fashion house is "mocking" Palestinian deaths.

After the heavy backlash, Zara deleted some of the photos from its Instagram, in which it has over 62 million followers.
