ALBAWABA - After the Indian trend that took over social media for weeks, where women were seen putting on makeup while Indian music was playing and turning themselves to look like Indian women, the Egyptian trend came and took control.

The Egyptian trend is not so different from the Indian one, as women take videos of themselves putting on makeup while the Egyptian song "Boushret Kheir" by Hussain Al Jassmi is heard in the background.

However, the Egyptian trend focuses on turning women into pharaohs such as the internationally well-known Cleopatra.

A woman who was believed to be the first to take on the trend on social media platforms was seen with the first two Egyptian flags painted on her cheeks.

Then, she started to apply more makeup and products such as foundation, blusher and mascara as well as a huge eyeliner to look like an Egyptian pharaoh.
