ALBAWABA - Alaa Mubarak, son of former Egyptian President Hosni, has entered a spat with Israeli Edy Cohen on the X (formerly Twitter) platform regarding the Israeli war on Gaza.
It all started when Egyptian businessman Alaa Mubarak posted on X account a photo of Adolf Hitler, the leader of the Nazi Party, then he deleted the post.
Meanwhile, Alaa Mubarak angrily posted on Tuesday night calling Edy Cohen a "coward" and adding that the Israeli media personality "doesn't know who he is dealing with."
He maintained: "The talkative coward (in reference to Cohen) who is accustomed to facing from behind a wall.. I said, Cohen, I will join you in the month of October that you love."
Edy Cohen rapidly quoted Alaa Mubarak's X post and mockingly mocked the Egyptian businessman: "You have enlightened your place and your people."
He then added slamming Alaa Mubarak's deleted post: "You can say whatever you want. I will not tell you anything after you removed your old post."
Cohen maintained that he is sure Alaa Mubarak will say the post was deleted due to a technical error.
Hamas operation against Israel
Hamas military group announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel which is the biggest offensive in decades.
Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip captured military bases and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel and others paragliding into occupation territory.
In response, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Thousands were killed, and dozens of thousands of others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
