ALBAWABA - In a horrific video circulating online, a father in Ankara's Etimesgut district grabs his daughter and dangles her from the 2nd-floor window while threatening her with a knife after an argument with his wife.
The incident which took place on 2022nd Street, Piyade Neighborhood, Etimesgut, Ankara - The father, who reportedly “went into a frenzy” after an argument with his wife, decides to prove his point by grabbing a knife and threatening to drop his 3-year-old daughter from the 2nd-floor window.
Neighbors and witnesses immediately called the police, who showed up in droves and spent a long time trying to persuade the father not to kill his daughter, to no avail. After the man said he “wouldn’t surrender”, a police special forces unit raided the apartment and neutralized the father, who was taken to the hospital. The daughter was unharmed.
An investigation was launched into the case, will the Turkish authorities allow the father to go back to his family after his recovery?
