ALBAWABA - Amir, a 5-year-old Palestinian boy, was recently shot dead by Israeli soldiers after receiving aid from US soldier Anthony Aguilar. The inhumane incident sparked outrage among human rights activists on social media.
Aguilar, who was working as a staff member for the GHF, appeared in a recent podcast recounting the inhumane scene. The US soldier described Amir as a frail child who walked barefoot for 12 kilometres to reach the GHF distribution point on May 28.
The US soldier revealed that after receiving a handful of rice and lentils from the ground, Amir kissed his hand and thanked him. However, after leaving with the rest of the Palestinians, Israeli soldiers fired gas and bullets towards the civilians, killing Amir.
