An 11-year-old boy, who danced ballet in the rain in a video that soon went viral, has been awarded a scholarship to study in the US after the internet celebrated his skills.

Sending yet another message that anyone can achieve their dreams, Anthony Mmesoma Madu from Lagos has received several offers to study in prestigious art schools from every corner of the globe.
The young boy, who appeared in a short video performing ballet moves with great skills outside his ballet school despite the rain, has impressed the internet as people praised his beautiful dance technique and wished he gets the chance to become a renowned dancer.

According to Anthony, ballet makes him feel "like he's on top of the world" and he practices it all the time "even when his mother sends him for daily errands."
Loving Madu's ballet, several celebrities shared his video across social media platforms, including the Oscar-winning actress Viola Davis who said that he "reminds her of the beauty of her people."
