ALBAWABA - The world is used to the fact that superheroes usually work to ensure good remains on Earth! however, in Yemen, superheroes' job is slightly different.
A video circulated on social media was first posted on YouTube, showing the Batman character dressing in Yemeni clothes as well as the traditional dagger was also placed.
The Batman in the Yemeni video promoting Qat (commonly known as Khat) was named "Qatman." The song was also adjusted from the original cartoon song to fit the ad.
In addition, instead of the black and grey colors of Batman, the video showed Qatman in dark green color with a plant sign attached to the forehead of the character in reference to the Qat plant which is very famous and legal in Yemen.

The video begins showing a Qat growing into a big plant and then turning into a Qatman superhero, who was seen wearing a long Yemeni Thawb, a back cap as well a traditional dagger.
Then, Qatman takes a pickup truck to a Qat farm to get a shipment and move it to the city to distribute it. After that, Qatman was seen doing traditional Yemeni dance with two other characters.
The video was posted on YouTube on June 16 and in two weeks it was able to gain 30,374 views.
Hilarious comments were also made on the video with many hinting that Batman can't fly, however, Qatman is able to fly after consuming Qat.
