ALBAWABA- In a recent social media frenzy, images purportedly showing a Libyan youth preparing to wed the daughter of Microsoft mogul Bill Gates circulated online.

 However, upon closer inspection, it became evident that the depicted individual was not Libyan but Egyptian. Wael Nassar, residing in the United States, is the husband of Jennifer Gates, daughter of the renowned billionaire.

The erroneous posts sparked significant attention, with claims of a romantic connection between the supposed Libyan youth, Rashid Al-Shaabi, and Gates' daughter. Despite widespread sharing, the information proved inaccurate.

Further investigation revealed that the man in the images is Nael Nassar, an Egyptian equestrian enthusiast. Nassar and Jennifer Gates tied the knot in 2021, both sharing a passion for horseback riding.

Nassar's representation of Egypt in numerous international equestrian competitions underscores his athletic prowess and debunks the false narrative circulating on social media.
