A Full Day of Formal Engagements
Despite the rainy weather that accompanied a reception he attended with Queen Camilla to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Cyfarthfa Castle, video footage captured the King grinning inside the driver's cabin while he drove the tram. Later, as part of the monarch's increasingly hectic schedule, the royal couple opened a new train station.
The Daily Express claims that since ascending to the throne in September 2022, King Charles, who announced his cancer diagnosis in February 2024, has continued to have a busy schedule. He has hosted U.S. President Donald Trump at Windsor Castle and made brief official visits to Canada and the Vatican, where he joined Pope Leo XIV in a joint prayer last October.

The King has not displayed any outward signs of weakness in recent appearances, which has put an end to persistent public speculation about his health.
Royal expert Robert Jobson says that many questions remain because Buckingham Palace has not revealed the exact type of cancer he is fighting.
