ALBAWABA - The Simpsons is back at it again with predictions of a possible Kamala Harris 2024 win after Joe Biden recently stepped down from the presidential elections against Donald Trump.
The episode in question aired 20 years ago and was titled "Bart to the Future," which showcased Lisa Simpson as the president of the United States. The internet didn't take long to swarm platforms such as X (formerly known as Twitter) with photos and scenes from the episode comparing Lisa to Kamala Harris.
Users on X compared Lisa's purple suit to Harris' triggering a bunch of theories and comments discussing the matter!
Did the Simpsons foresee Kamala Harris win 20 years ago?
Similarities in the outfits are uncanny since both are even wearing the same pearl necklace. The Simpsons is known for predicting things but some appeared to be false or done by the fandom. For example, a recent drawing of Trump in The Simpsons art style went viral due to "predicting" his recent assassination attempt at one of his rallies in Pennsylvania.
On the other hand, the show was right in some cases after foreseeing Trump becoming president in 2017.
Lisa said in the episode, "As you know, we’ve inherited quite a budget crunch from President Trump." Moreover, Lisa's brother Bart appears to be freeloading during the episode while she rises to the presidency.
After being endorsed by Joe Biden, Harris responded with, "I am honored to have the President’s endorsement, and I intend to earn and win this nomination."
