ALBAWABA - American officials said the US government warned Russian authorities about the horrific Crocus City Hall deadly attack two weeks before it happened, The Washington Post reported.

According to reports made by US officials, the Biden government told authorities in Russia that Crocus City Hall, which is a popular concert venue near Moscow, was a potential target, about 14 days before the deadly incident.

Did the US warn Russia about the Crocus City Hall attack 2 weeks ahead?

After statements made by US officials, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova broke her silence about reports from the US that they had warned about the Crocus City Hall attack weeks before it happened killing at least 144 and injuring more than 500.

Zakharova rejected The Washington Post’s report that the US had warned Russia about an imminent "terrorist attack" on the concert hall two weeks before it happened.

She also dismissed the reports made as "completely false."

On March 22, armed men broke into the venue, shooting and killing at least 144 people, including six children, and injuring over 500 others. The attack was claimed by the Islamic State and it is labeled as the deadliest since the early 2000s.
