ALBAWABA - A spring in Mecca city in Saudi Arabia has triggered massive shock on social media for allegedly flowing water and fire at the same time.
A strange clip emerged online of a spring in Saudi Arabia from which water and fire flow at once. Many questioned the footage and claimed that this is a very "unusual phenomenon" that could warn of the "doomsday or end of the world".
The footage also shows a crowd surrounding the alleged spring in Mecca city in Saudi Arabia shockingly looking at the never-happened-before phenomenon.
Thousands viewed and shared the clip, with comments from social media users questioning how this happened; fire and water at the same time.

However, after research, it turned out that the location of the video was detailed wrong by social media users.
The clip was filmed in Iraqi Kurdistan and shows a well from which fire is coming out due to a gas leak with water, according to an old AFP report.
In detail, the exact location of the well is in the Sulaymaniyah area, in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
After a long search, the same video of the well with fire and water was documented in an Al-Jazeera report back in 2015 and in Kurdistan, not Saudi Arabia as social media users claimed online.
