ALBAWABA - A shocking incident has taken Egyptians by storm after a man in Giza city, stabbed his ex-wife to death 25 times.
Egypt's authorities in Giza Governorate received a report from the emergency room reporting that a woman was killed after being stabbed by her ex-husband inside her family’s home in the Agouza area.
Authorities further revealed that the stabber killed his ex-wife after he wanted to marry her again while she refused.
The security forces went to the scene of the incident, and the initial probe revealed that the victim was divorced from the perpetrator, who asked her to return as his wife before committing his crime.
Local Egyptian media said that when the woman refused to get back to him he took a "large knife" and stabbed her 25 times in various places leading to her tragic death.
The victim was killed in her mother's house, as she had gone there a month ago after leaving the attacker's house along with her children. The ex-husband went to check up on his children and asked her to return, but she strongly refused, so he committed his crime in front of the children's eyes.
