ALBAWABA - Egyptian YouTuber Hiba who posted a disgraceful video of her children online has been sentenced to 7 years in jail.

Egyptian YouTuber, who owns the YouTube Channel called "Umm Ziad," sparked controversy in the country after she uploaded a video of her son and daughter and accused them of immoral acts to gain more interaction.

An Egyptian court has sentenced YouTuber Heba Al-Sayyed Ibrahim Ahmed to 7 years along with 200,000 Egyptian pounds fine ($6,472).

Nevertheless, the second suspect in the case which was Hiba's son Muhammad Hamdi Abdel Majeed Ahmed, was jailed for 10 years and also fined 200,000 Egyptian pounds.

Moreover, the Egyptian court has also sentenced the third accused, who is the Egyptian YouTuber's second husband, Hassan Samir Mahmoud Muhammad Mashali, to life imprisonment and fined 500,000 Egyptian pounds ($16,181).

During investigations, the Egyptian YouTuber and her son confessed to committing their crime and claimed that they sought to tape children in the clips to attract viewers and increase profits.
