ALBAWABA - Tesla and X owner (Formerly known as Twitter) Elon Musk sparked debate on his official account after reposting a video first published seven years ago about the UAE Foreign Minister warning the West of extremists and terrorists.

The video in question was shared across social media and showcased UAE's Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan "warning the West" that there will come a day when a group of people whom he described as "Radical extremists and terrorists" come out of Europe.

Moreover, he added that they will claim that they will assume to know about the Middle East and Islam but will be ignorant of both the region and the religion. The foreign minister insisted on talking in English to voice his opinion about the matter.

Despite the video first being released seven whopping years ago, it's gaining traction and views again after Elon Musk and Polish news outlet Visegrád 24 shared it on X.

On one side some users agreed with Musk about the video:

Controversial figure Ian Miles Cheong who had rumors spread about him that the Malaysian government would execute him two months ago said, "The West should’ve listened to him."

Another said, "When Twitter was under the control of Jack, they used to suspend people for writing "Islamic Terrorism."
