ALBAWABA - A shocking incident in South Africa caused outrage across the country after two women were allegedly shot dead and then fed to pigs by a farmer and his two workers, according to the BBC.
The victims in question were 45-year-old Maria Makgato and 34-year-old Lucia Ndlovu who were allegedly searching for some food near the man's farm in Limpopo province, South Africa in Aug. 2024, resulting in the shooting.
Their bodies were then given to the pigs by 63-year-old Zachariah Johannes Olivier and his workers 19-year-old Adrian de Wet and 50-year-old William Musora in an attempt to hide the evidence. They were later arrested and are now awaiting their murder trial.

Many citizens protested against granting the culprits bail in a previous hearing. Moreover, one of the victim's brothers told the BBC about rising racism between black and white people in South Africa, especially in its rural areas while also bringing up the apartheid that ended 30 years ago.
Furthermore, Olivier was also responsible for shooting Lucia Ndlovu's husband who managed to survive and crawl his way to the doctor for help.
Ndlovu's husband Mabutho Ncube then reported the incident to the police who found her body partly eaten by pigs several days later, according to Makgato's brother Walter Mathole.
