ALBAWABA - A source revealed that Meta is urgently working on fixing its AI chatbot after it was unable to identify who is the current President of the United States.

Sources revealed that despite Trump's election victory and that he was inaugurated as president on Ja. 20, succeeding Joe Biden, Meta's AI chatbot responded to the question that "Biden is the president," RT reported citing the source and a Reuters test of the service.

When Reuters asked the META chatbot on Thursday about the name of the US president, he replied by saying: "The current president of the United States is Joe Biden. However, according to the latest information available, Donald Trump was sworn in as president on January 20, 2025."

A META spokesperson Daniel Roberts replied defending the company by saying: “Everyone knows that the president of the United States is Donald Trump."

He added: "All generative AI systems sometimes call out old results, and we will continue to improve our features."
