ALBAWABA - Every Day Palestine shared a picture on Instagram showcasing what Gazans are resorting to eating amid the ongoing food shortages and Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023.

The social media account claimed that Palestinians in northern Gaza are resorting to eating "Wild herbs and even using animal food to make "bread" as the Israeli forces are preventing access to humanitarian aid in the north". This doesn't come as a surprise as prices for goods and services skyrocketed since Oct. 7.

Moreover, it has also proven difficult for Gazans to get their hands on clean drinkable water and the high number of corpses is resulting in the spread of diseases such as diarrhea, respiratory infections, Meningitis, and skin irritations.

As reported by WHO (World Health Organization) in December, 93% of the population in Gaza is facing crisis levels of hunger, with insufficient food and high levels of malnutrition. WHO went on to add that these diseases can be fought if the body is healthy, but Gazans don't have the luxury of that as their bodies are weak and hungry.

Pro-Palestine users took to the post's comment section to share their opinions on the matter:

"Remember it, next time when you eat Mcdonald's."

"This just breaks my heart!"

"What’s the UN doing about these humanitarian violations? How are people eating cattle feed & grass?"

"No humanity is left in the world, how do you expect Gazans not to lose hope?"
