ALBAWABA - According to screenshots circulating across social media, several Israelis are receiving messages from an unknown source telling them to leave if they value their life in warning of a possible missile strike, as reported by Israeli media.

AJ+ stated that the Israeli army denied sending these messages to citizens and assured everyone that there hadn't been any change of instructions from official sources. Moreover, they instructed Israeli citizens to refrain from dealing with these messages deeming them "suspicious and frightening."

The message in question read as follows:

"If you want to live, Leave. If you want to stay, go to hell." and was followed by a link to Telegram that said, "Promised revenge."

Israelis on social media platforms including Elon Musk's X (formerly known as Twitter) have speculated that Lebanon's Hezbollah could be behind the messages due to ongoing tensions between the group in question and Israel.

Massive explosions were heard across several Lebanese regions, including the southern suburb of Beirut, just 24 hours after Israel's largest-ever cyber attack on Lebanon’s wireless communication system which had "Pagers" belonging to several Hezbollah members exploding.

Due to the recent incident, at least 20 people in Lebanon were killed and over 3,250 others were injured with hundreds in critical condition, the Lebanese Ministry of Health revealed on Wednesday—moreover, the reported explosions from several wireless communication devices detonated in several areas across Lebanon.
