ALBAWABA - Iranian-affiliated hacking group "Handala" have leaked dozens of personal data, documents and photos belonging to the former Chief of Staff in the Israeli army, Herzi Halevi.

In recent hours, many personal pictures and documents belonging to Herzi Halevi have been circulating on the internet and going viral, especially on the X platform.

Handala posted the photos and wrote on Thursday, "Introducing General Herzi Halevi."

In one of the clips, the group shared an embarrassing moment showing Halevi in a humorous family setting at home. In another, the former IDF general was seen performing Yoga.

Many accounts posted the footage of the former Israeli army general and said, "Iranian Handala hackers leaked dozens of documents belonging to former Israeli Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, including personal photos, adding: 'This is just the beginning'."

Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper revealed that the hacking group revealed in a statement that the operation took years to gather this much data. The group added that they were able to steal around 19,000 sensitive files.

According to Handala, the material includes visual documentation of secret meetings, strategic maps and personal details from Halevi's private home.

The incident is being investigated as part of an "aggressive psychological warfare campaign," according to Ynet, considering the timing of the leaking, which coincides with U.S. President Donald Trump's announcement of a ceasefire with Iran.

Israeli media said that this was not a coincidence.

Nonetheless, Handala had earlier breached the devices of former defense minister Yoav Gallant, ex-prime minister Naftali Bennett, Benny Gantz and Tzachi Braverman, all senior officials with access to classified material.
