ALBAWABA - A factory in Aqaba, southern Jordan, became the site of a tragic shooting when a recently terminated employee returned with an AK-47 and murdered his boss. The event happened after the employee's employment was terminated, resulting in two gunshot injuries and one injury from a fall.

According to investigators, the former worker entered the plant masked in a mask and started fire, killing his boss on the spot. A foreign worker also sustained injuries from the shooting, while a Jordanian employee was hurt after falling in the ensuing chaos.

According to a police spokesperson, the Aqaba Police Directorate was notified of the shooting earlier today. After getting dismissed from the workplace a while back, the assailant became enraged and opened fire randomly before leaving the area. The suspect is being actively sought after by law enforcement.

The wounded were taken to the hospital for treatment, including the foreign national and the Jordanian who had been harmed in the fall. Authorities are continuing to investigate the event.
