ALBAWABA - Activists exposed a Lebanese teacher who was jailed for sexually harassing children and minors in one of the Lebanese private schools.

Advocates shared online that a physics professor, principal at Al-Manar Islamic School, as well as founder and director of the Qalamoun Football Academy, who was identified as F.F., was arrested in August with accusations of sexual abuse against students.

Despite that no one shared much information about the sexual abuser when he was arrested, the case got much attention after the teacher was released from jail on bail causing a wave of anger among the parents of the children who were affected.

Activists said the Lebanese judiciary released the teacher on bail a few days ago, adding that his family celebrated it with fireworks, flutes, and the distribution of sweets under the homes of his victims.

Meanwhile, many shared hashtags on the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, and asked for justice for the victims of the sexually harassing teacher.

People have also demanded the re-arrest of the Lebanese teacher asking judges to send him back to prison.

A video was shared online allegedly showing a group of people protesting under the house of the Lebanese teacher and calling for his arrest.

Furthermore, the mother of one of the children who was abused said to The New Arab that the Lebanese teacher spotted by parents in the village that he was acting weird inside the mosque as he was always approaching minors after "Tarawih prayers in the blessed month of Ramadan, and harassing them. So they monitored him and tried to find out the facts by asking minors."

The mother also added that she had no idea about the Lebanese teacher harassing children, but added that he son got the courage and told his parents.
