ALBAWABA - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office and the Foreign Affairs Ministry confirmed Sunday that the body of missing Rabbi Zvi Kogan was identified by UAE authorities.
Jerusalem Post revealed that the Mossad and authorities in UAE had launched a probe into the case of Rabbi Zvi Kogan adding that it might be a "terrorist incident."
"The Israeli mission in Abu Dhabi has been in contact with the family since the beginning of the incident and continues to support them during this difficult time," a statement by Netanyahu's office and Foreign Affairs Ministry read.
The statement also added: "His family in Israel has also been informed."
In a post on X, the Prime Ministry of Israel wrote: "The UAE intelligence and security authorities have located the body of Zvi Kogan, who has been missing since Thursday, 21 November 2024."
According to Ynet, the body of the Rabbi was found an hour and a half away from Dubai with suspects that he was kidnapped by three Uzbek nationals who subsequently left to Turkey after the crime.
