ALBAWABA - In Adana, a man who had abused his wife invaded her father's home, where she had taken refuge, in a startling occurrence. The lady was hurt when the guy and his brother tossed a Molotov cocktail at the house.
After fleeing her violent husband, Fadime Ö took sanctuary in her father's house in the Yüreğir neighborhood of Adana. She was physically attacked by her husband, Eren Ö., and his brother, Mert Ö., who then intensified the assault by throwing a Molotov cocktail at the home.
The home was partially damaged by the violent assault, and Fadime Ö. was hurt and sent to the hospital. Thankfully, her illness does not pose a danger to her life.
Both of the brothers engaged in the assault were arrested by the police once they arrived promptly. Witnesses in the area recorded the attack on their cell phones, which helped with the investigation.
As officials call for further protection for those who are vulnerable, this tragedy brings attention to the persistent problem of domestic violence in the area.
